Members of the media are invited to the opening and closing sessions of the 12th BRICS Trade Union Forum that is sitting from 26 – 27 September 2023, at AHA Gateway Hotel in Umhlanga, Durban.
The opening sessions will take place from 08:30 to 09:35 on the 26th of September 2023. These sessions include:
- Remarks by Presidents of SA’s four Trade Union Federations (SAFTU, FEDUSA, NACTU and COSATU): 08:30 – 09:00
- Nedlac Overall Labour Convenor: 09:00 – 09:15
- Minister of Labour and Employment, Thulas Nxesi: 09:15 – 09:35
The closing sessions and the reading of the declaration will take place from 15:00 – 16:00 on the 27th of September 2023.
