The South African Federation of Trade Unions (SAFTU) will commemorate Workers Day on the 1st of May 2024. The federation will commemorate May Day “on the 30th anniversary of democracy amid worsening unemployment, inequality and poverty.” Under this theme we will reflect on the socio-economic conditions of the working class and the attacks on the workers’ rights.
